The letters written for business and government purpose should be wordy and needs to pin pointed. It should be written in paper form and should fill a certain standard of communication that is imposed on the letter writes.

The font and letter format: You should take special care while dealing with the fonts and the letter format. The most basic letter format is called the black format. In this format, the left side of the letter should be justified and should have single spaces in between and double space in between paragraphs. Another letter format is the 'modified block'. The whole body of the letter should be justified and should have single spaces. The body and the closing should be in alignment and should be placed to the central part of the page. Another formatting is the semi block style. It is a modified block in which each paragraph being indented and the left side of the letter is justified.

The accepted font for letter writing is 'Times new roman' and the size is 12. Other fonts like 'Arial' are also used. The audience should be considered when choosing a font. A conservative accepts only 'Times New Roman'. A liberal company will accept any standard font and does not have any specific conditions. Size 14 is also used since it is clearer and much bigger. Most importantly, when writing a business letter use an A4 paper. So, write a business letter that is completely precise and error free.
