Students should know how to
write a business letter. Because if there is one thing that is
used often in the corporate world, that is business letters.
Business letters are not made by itself.
Somebody has composed it. And
that somebody also went thru the same thing that you are going
thru now. There was a time when that person asked himself how
do I write a business letter?
Writing a business letter is
always hard at the start. Seminars and trainings on business
writing recognize that. And knowing the right word to use for
that certain document is always hard but there will always be
tools to help us out.
I found that the easiest way
to write a business letter is to look at past documents written
by the company. Companies all have a specific way of writing
and even if you are grammatically correct but it does not
coincide to the way the company does it, the business
correspondence that you made will always come back to you for
your edits. That is the truth. So if there are documents that
you can take a look at prior to writing that business letter,
good for you. But if there is none, always stick with the
basics of writing and that is observe good grammar and perfect
spelling. That is always a good start.
